Permanent Position Day Shifts Competitive Salary I have an exciting new role for an Estimator, working for a market leader in the laser cutting/sheet metalwork industry, based in Worcestershire.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Estimator will come from a technical background in either engineering or manufacturing who can operate in a commercial role to estimate new enquiries and assist the team. The main requirements of the Estimator will be to:
Interpret customers’ requirements from specifications and drawings. Using software to create quotations and price proposals. Liaise with suppliers for material and sub-contract costs. Deal with client's technical questions with support from the company's manufacturing engineers. Promote the business and follow up on enquiries to maximise new business opportunities.
