To work closely with the Operations Manager in ensuring the smooth running of a
wide variety of the Town Councils properties and facilities to the required
standards.,
• Prepare hall/rooms for clients by laying out chairs, tables and any other
facilities required, taking into account all requirements imposed by Fire
Regulations, Healthy & Safety and Entertainments Licenses.
• In accordance with the staff rota, open premises 15 minutes before the
start of the booking period.
• Ensure all users have a copy of the emergency procedures. Brief
kitchen/bar users on the correct and safe use of equipment.
• To ensure the safe storage of all cleaning equipment and other hazardous
substances. (as per COSHH regulations or equivalent)
• To ensure that bins are emptied, and rubbish is placed out for collection
and that the appropriate bags are ordered when needed.
