We are looking for a Head Chef to join an Industrial Site Canteen in Callington, working 5 days per week on an ongoing on Rota basis from 18:00 to 03:00.
• Cook & deliver menus that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of industrial workers. This might involve incorporating hearty and healthy options while keeping within budget constraints. Balance nutritional needs with large-scale food production for a high volume of customers.
• Oversee a small team of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and safe food preparation. Delegate tasks, train new staff, and maintain a positive and productive work environment within the fast-paced canteen setting.
• Prioritize Quality & Safety: Maintain the highest standards of food quality and hygiene. Implement and enforce all health and safety regulations to prevent foodborne illnesses. Ensure proper storage, handling, and preparation of food in large quantities.
