Working in a team with our Investments Accounting Senior Manager, the Help to Buy Accounting Manager will play a critical role in accounting for and reporting on the Agencys Help to Buy asset portfolio. The Help to Buy portfolio was valued at £18.9bn as at 31st March 2023 and represents a significant proportion of the Agencys Statement of Financial Position. The judgements and assumptions applied to the valuation are therefore critical towards ensuring the Agency produces materially accurate financial statements.

The role will support the Investments Accounting Senior Manager with the production of monthly reporting, as well as accounting for the portfolio over the year-end period. This includes assisting with analysis work to support the development of key assumptions for the portfolio valuation, and assisting with the production of working papers, financial statements and disclosures.
