• Flexible attitude to hours of work, some unsociable hours may be required.
• To be responsible for covering a caretaker role in the absence of a regular caretaker.
• To work alongside all existing staff and caretaker in maintaining and preparing premises to a
high satisfactory standard.
• To work closely with the Operations Manager and Town Clerk in ensuring the smooth
running of a wide variety of the Town Council's properties and facilities to the required
standards.
• To be a keyholder in line with the required duties and responsibilities of the post.

Example of Possible Roles and Responsibilities
• To maintain the cleanliness of all facilities within the Town Hall as required.
• To carry out minor maintenance and repair of the Town Hall as and when required.
• To set up and clear away rooms for hirers.
• To carry out all other caretaking duties as and when required.
• To carry out other duties and tasks as requested by the Operations Manager, commensurate
with the post.
