About The Role

Reporting to the Senior Emergency Services Officer (SESO), the Medical Emergency Services Officer (MESO) contributes to the success of Liberty Primary Steel (LPS) through the delivery of a fit for purpose Emergency Response (Fire, Rescue, Medical Response and Asset Protection) capability in line with operational requirements and risk environment at the Whyalla Steelworks site.

The MESO is responsible for supporting the Emergency Manager Lead to ensure the delivery of prescribed emergency services to agreed operational standards. The role also includes supporting the development and delivery of regular emergency response exercises, training of Trainee Emergency Services Officers (TESO), and the development of an Auxiliary Response Group (ARG).

Roster: 14 days on, 14 days off, rotating day and night shift.
