About The Role

The IT Field Service Technician role is responsible for providing in the field technical support of office and industrial based computer hardware and software used by the business. This role requires good technical problem-solving skills and strong practical knowledge of desktops, laptops and servers.

Other Responsibilities Include
• Resolution and effective tracking of Incidents/Problems/Service Requests
• Identify and recommend process, application, and technology improvements
• Provide advice to customers during incident management
• Provide support to remote users
• Occasional project work to deploy solutions
• Engage vendors and contractors to resolve escalated incidents/requests
• Provide 24/7 on call support to the business as part of a roster
• Create quality documentation for internal and external parties
