Post two: Participation in our Radiology shift system which involves a mix of 12 hour day and night duties and 7.5 hour shifts covering Monday-Sunday. Out of hour duties will be worked in CT and general x-ray., To work as a Senior Radiographer providing care for patients within the Interventional Suite, Catheter Lab and General X-Ray departments, working without direct supervision, reporting to the Superintendent Radiographers within the Department.
To plan and prioritise workload and patient lists, organising the Interventional room on a daily basis in conjunction with the wider multidisciplinary teams.
To work closely with Radiologists, Radiology Nurses, Cardiologists and the Cardiology Nursing team within these busy and dynamic environments.
