• The salary for the role is Grade 11, ranging from £30,296 to £33,945 – pro-rata and the contract will be for 6 hours per week.
• This is a 12-month fixed-term contract
• This role will be based at Brympton Way, Yeovil
• Regular evening work (1 evening per week) to run weekly support sessions is a requirement of this role
• Annual leave entitlement for this grade is 30 days pro-rata

What will I be doing?

We’re working to improve the lives of people here in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that joining a dynamic public health team, which has an excellent reputation. Your day-to-day work will involve:
• Providing specialist support and advice to people in Somerset who wish to quit smoking or vaping.
• Delivering face-to-face group and one-to-one telephone support sessions – providing a positive and encouraging environment.
• Working closely with the acute trust to support patients to remain smokefree after discharge.
