Job title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Warton – Onsite only

Salary: £47,683-£52,426 (dependent on skills and experience)

What You’ll Be Doing
• Development, testing and release of aircraft software simulations and software testing tools
• Development, integration, test and release of MaTE (The Modelling and Test Environment) related products, such as Desktop Virtual Rig (DTVR)
• Development, integration, test and release of the MaTE Software
• 2nd line support – fault investigation resulting from complex MaTE / DTVR users queries
• Review and analysis of suitable toolsets and methodologies
• Configuration and Version Control
• Managing budgets and schedules
• Working closely with suppliers and key stakeholders
• Supporting less experienced software engineers

Essential

Your skills and experiences:
• Strong programming experience, and ideally experience with developing simulations and/or aircraft software, with experience of test tools
