Air Sector is engaged in a critical role on the FCAS/GCAP/Dreadnought programmes to develop the functional design of the Active Vehicle Control System (AVCS) employing Model Based Engineering techniques at scale on what is a safety critical system.

The Dreadnought Active Vehicle Control (AVC) programme is a fast-paced exciting opportunity to develop Model Based Engineering (MBE) capabilities within the Engineering Lifecycle.

The Dreadnought AVC programme operates a ‘One Team’ construct in which the Air Sector partners with BAE Systems Maritime and Electronic Systems. The Systems Engineering role within the Integration team would be one that involves supporting and facilitating the continued partnership, both externally with partner stakeholders, and within the AVC Functional Development team to ensure that our products come together in a coherent and efficient manner.
