The Director, Data Management is a senior leadership position which will lead the vision, strategy, and oversight of the Data Management division within the Planning and Transformation branch of the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The Director provides strategic leadership to clients in the development and delivery of the OCIO’s data management framework and data strategy, data services program, and privacy management program. The position is accountable for the development and implementation of a data services function to OCIO clients, this will include the development of a data management strategy and framework, including required data policies, data standards and data modelling. The director will utilize modern technology to offer OCIO clients; business intelligence, decision support, and data analytics, ensuring compliance with legislation, industry standards, and best practices.
