This position conducts agronomic, analytical and technical assessments of agribusiness development projects and business plans submitted from industry stakeholders for the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (Sustainable CAP) funding program and advises the Implementation Committee regarding the suitability of projects in meeting program mandates. The Financial Officer position provides financial analysis and project management in support of business and economic development; and advises the agriculture industry with regards to Sustainable CAP programming supports for building sector capacity, growth and competitiveness; climate change and the environment; science, research and innovation; market development and trade; and resiliency and public trust.
