Description

The Department of Oncology in the Cumming School of Medicine invites applications for a Research Assistant. This Full-time Fixed Term position is for approximately 1 year (based on length of grant funding), with the possibility of extension.

This position reports to the Principal Investigator.

The Research Assistant will provide support to various research activities for the Person-centred Radiation Oncology Service Enhancement (PROSE) program. PROSE is aimed to enhance person-centered care measurable by appropriate patient reported experience measures, including but not limited to information, emotional support and care coordination domains. It is hoped that improvements in practice culture through enhancing person-centred care within the radiation treatment portion of cancer services will have a positive impact on patient experience.
