We are currently on a search for an Associate Materials Planning who will expedite materials and ensure a smooth flow of materials from suppliers until they are delivered at the factory to be based in Ladysmith. Procurement of material in line with monthly and weekly production plan to ensure zero production line stoppages. Ensure that the right materials are delivered at the factory at the right time and in right quantities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Place orders on suppliers.
• Expedite orders on suppliers.
• Place forecast on suppliers.
• Control stock levels to target.
• Update purchase order actions.
• Evaluate price variances.
• Update price changes.
• Follow upon concession requirements, Engineering changes, obtain quotes, ISIR samples, LOA, Place orders for tooling.
• Notify suppliers of rejects.
• Evaluate daily shortages.
• Coordinate transport requirements.
• Evaluate supplier on time delivery.
