KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain machines and equipment assigned to the position.
• Execution of planned maintenance activities.
• Able to work timeously and thoroughly within a high-pressure environment.
• Attending to breakdowns and troubleshoot problems on machinery, equipment and facility as required.
• Planning work according to production schedule and the superintendent’s instructions.
• Complete Job cards as per standing procedures.
• Complete daily reports, equipment, and safety check sheets.
• Work shifts on weekly rotational basis to cover 24 hours per day.
• Responsible to complete jobs timeously under minimal supervision.
• Repair breakdowns on machines, mold, jigs, fixtures, and equipment to reduce production stoppage time.
• Perform planned and preventative maintenance work.
• Create lists and inform the maintenance superintendent of spare part requirements for jobs to be done within your area.
• Daily handovers and feedback recording in logbooks.
