Job Title: Religious Studies Teacher

Location: Pontefract, West Yorkshire

Contract Type: Long-term

Leader Education are recruiting a Religious Studies Teacher to work at a large Secondary School based in the Pontefract and Wakefield area. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) as well as experience in teaching Humanities and/or Religious Studies at a Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 level. The school serves the local community, providing education and opportunities for the next generation.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:25am until 3pm and is a long term position.

The Successful Candidate Will Have
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Previous experience teaching Humanities and/or Religious Studies
• The ability to plan for all learning styles, abilities and levels
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students
