Role: 1-1 Specialist Teaching Assistant

Rate: £90 - £110 per day

Contract: Temp to Perm

Location: Halifax

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Leader Education is working in partnership with a SEN School based in Halifax.

We are recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist SEN school, providing educational support to students aged 7 - 18.

You will have previous experience of working with students with SEMH needs - social, emotional and mental health issues (previously known as BESD, SEBD & EBD).

You will have excellent behaviour management skills as well as patience, empathy and understanding.

• You will be required to provide either one to one support or small group support to learners with SEMH needs

• To take direction from the class teacher and help support
