IT Support Engineer

Position Description:

Reporting to the Head of I.T, the IT Support Engineer will be responsible for maintaining existing IT systems, whilst providing IT support to all the corporate group’s users. The selected candidate will be responsible for accurately maintaining IT assets, procuring, tagging of IT hardware and co-ordinating with third parties. Will also help in the planning of new IT systems for internal use as well as for production purposes.

Responsibilities:
• Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
• Assisting staff/clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues.
• Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
• Replacing parts as required.
• Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
