The incumbent in this class assists management to achieve efficient operation of the Public Works and Parks Department and Utility Operations Department through reliable performance of Utility I Labourer duties observing and complying with municipal policies and practices.

Nature And Scope Of Work

The incumbent in this class will be required to perform all non and semi-skilled tasks associated with labourer duties; cutting grass, flagging, loading equipment, repairing fences, cleaning streets, removing garbage, using manual tools, laying pipes, digging, etc. The incumbent will perform other related tasks as assigned.
