High Voltage Technician

Smart4Energy has partnered up with a recognized independent power producer organization and they are currently seeking an High Voltage (HV) Technician for a great opportunity in Middelburg, Eastern Cape!

As an HV Technician, you will be responsible for safe and reliable operation and maintenance of electrical substations, overhead lines, and general Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment.

Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Hold an Electrical Test Trade and ORHVS certificates
• Min. of 8 years experience within the Renewable Industry
• Min. of 3 years experience working with Electrical Substations and Overhead lines
• Extensive knowledge of MV and HV electrical equipment
• Familiar with GMR2(7) associated responsibilities
