Role: General Operator

Location: NE6 3PF - Newcastle upon Tyne

Duration: 2 to 3 months

Shift – 6.00 am to 2.00 pm

As a yard operative, you will be part of the Facilities team and will be responsible for:
• Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Waste management across the site
• General housekeeping around the yard areas
• Delivery of mail/packages to intended recipients.
• Exchanging water bottles in dispensers
• General yard operations
• Dealing with visitors including customer representatives, carriers, and Internal staff in a professional and courteous manner
• Prepare items ready for dispatch and verify paperwork.

Technical Skills/Knowledge
• A team player with good communications skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• A valid counterbalance certificate for unloading and loading vehicles.
