Job Summary

The Teaching and Learning Centre at UFV welcomes applications for the position of Learning Designer for a full-time, one-year contract.

Reporting to the AVP Teaching and Learning Centre, the incumbent will partner with faculty in course design for online, hybrid, and classroom learning experiences; furthermore, they will work closely with faculty to assist in the creation of engaging learning environments through the application of learning design theories, practice, and methods.

The Learning Designer has a strong technical background and can assist faculty with digital resources, software, and applications.

From assessing faculty requirements, the Learning Designer makes recommendations for learning activities, assessments, technological tools, and resources that are appropriate for the course, learning outcomes, and student learning.
