About the Company:

Our reputable client within the transportation industry is seeking a designated Controller for a period of 6 months. You will be working closely with the Director, whilst supervising 1 Intermediate Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for you to work for a company that will values your financial insights and expertise. This is a fully on-site opportunity, located in the Fraser Valley.

The Role
• Prepare monthly Financial Statements according to ASPE
• Manage BC payroll for 35 staff
• Develop cashflow forecast and highlight any upcoming major purchases
• Process Intercompany charges and transactions
• Overseeing Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Develop a good understanding around provincial contract and compliance requirements around billing
• Support annual inventory count
• Liaise with the external CPA firm, that closes the books
• Support ongoing effort to streamlines processes in ERP
