Interim Chief Financial Officer

A high-performing multi-academy trust in Yorkshire is seeking an experienced and strategic interim Chief Financial Officer for a 3-4 month contract.

Responsibilities:
• Provide financial leadership and support to the CEO in producing accurate and timely financial information for the Board of Governors
• Manage and mentor a small but efficient finance team in month-end accounts and reporting
• Review and optimize financial systems, controls, and reporting processes
• Prepare budget forecasts, financial modeling and analyses to inform strategic decision-making
• Liaise with auditors and ensure statutory compliance
• Potential opportunity to assist with strategic financial planning and growth initiatives

Requirements:
• Qualified accountant with solid not-for-profit/educational experience preferred
