Head of Finance

£41,448 per annum FTE, paid pro rata for part-time hours

Hours: 28 hours per week across Monday to Friday with some flexibility on days and hours.

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to oversee the finance function of our charity providing end-of-life care services. This is a key role responsible for financial management, line managing the finance team, ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures, and providing confidential support to the senior management team and Board of Trustees.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare management accounts, reports and paperwork for meetings
• Administer invoicing, payments, petty cash, and donations
• Complete VAT, payroll, Gift Aid and other HMRC returns
• Maintain the accounting system (Sage) and finances administration
• Prepare financial forecasts, projections and other reports
• Manage all charity bank accounts
• Assist in preparation of business cases and the annual audit
