Summary

As an integral member of the Finance Team, the Accountant is responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing all capital, shutdown, and regular fixed cost as well as participate in the process of month/year-end closing, budgeting/forecasting, and internal/external audits. They will assist with the full financial accounting cycle and ensuring application of sound accounting principles/practices to provide accurate and timely financial information for decision-making in support of mill operations.

Responsibilities
• Capital
• Maintain the Project System in SAP for all approved projects.
• Track/report all capital expenditures, monitor spending, and predict cash flow requirements.
• Reconcile monthly settlements to the asset ledger.
• Create new assets and perform all transfers/disposals within SAP.
• Maintain the 5-year capital plan.
• Month End / Year End
• Settle work order transactions and project transactions.
• Reconcile expense accounts.
