About The Service User

Family looking for support for their 5 year old son who has learning disabilities, he is Autistic, non verbal, has sensory processing and avoidant restrictive food intake disorders, he has a PEG in situ.J loves to be outside going for walks, playing in the park and enjoys swimming too.

Hours and rate of Pay

Ideally 5hrs every other Saturday paid at £12 per hour.Enhanced DBS clearance is required

What you would be doing…

Supporting J to access the activities he enjoys.Support to boost confidence in social situations & promoting general communication skills with others.Some support may be required to change J’s nappy and getting dressed, shoes on etc.,J can display disruptive behaviour particularly around loud noises children shouting/babies crying, you will need to learn techniques to deal with this.
