About The Role

You will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day route planning and scheduling in order to meet the departmental objectives as well as working to continuously improving performance against set targets.

What you will do:
• Coordinate the day-to-day route planning and scheduling.
• Plan drivers and resources to meet work demands and key performance indicators.
• Assign and maximise the utilisation of drivers and vehicles on a daily basis.
• Plan all relevant customer deliveries & collections ensuring delivery windows are met.
• Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and delivery performance to assist in evaluating efficiency and identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure maximum load efficiency by coordinating multiple deliveries within a single route, minimizing empty miles and reducing fuel consumption.
