Job Title: Mental Health Teaching Assistant

Location: Pontefract, West Yorkshire

Contract Type: Long Term

Leader Education are recruiting Mental Health Teaching Assistants to work at a large SEND school based in Pontefract. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEND on a 1:1 basis. The school caters for young people aged 11-16 years old with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties in Key Stage 3 & 4 who have been either temporarily or permanently excluded from mainstream education. School based experience is not essential as relevant transferable skills, experience and personality will be taken into consideration.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 3:30pm and is a long term position.
