We are currently recruiting for a company based in Histon who are recruiting for a HGV Mechanic to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

They’re looking for someone who has previous experience within a similar role and working hours will be on a 45 hour a week basis Monday to Friday.

Typical duties would include:
• Completing maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring readiness for MOTs.
• Ensuring the completion and proper sign-off of service and defect paperwork.
• Conducting comprehensive vehicle services and inspections, reporting on vehicle condition where required.
• Liaise with 3rd parties regarding external vehicle maintenance.
• Diagnosing and reporting any faults, defects, or potential issues in vehicles.
• Work aligned with company health and safety policy.
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.

The successful candidate:
• Previous vehicle maintenance experience.
