We are actively looking for a Stores Operative to work for our client based in St Ives. This position is permanent and would be working Monday to Friday with an earlier finish on Friday.

This position incorporates aspects of Van driving alongside working within the stores department and the role does have aspects of heavy lifting included.

Typical duties will include:
• Checking incoming deliveries, making sure they are booked in and put away in a timely fashion.
• Van driving occasionally to local customers with the occasional longer journey.
• Storing goods in correct location and pack away finished goods for shipment.
• Arranging necessary transport and meet set customer delivery dates.
• Ensure stores are maintained with high levels of cleanliness.
• Usage of forklift (Once trained)

The successful candidate:
• Forklift licence (Desirable)
• Previous warehouse/stores experience (Desirable)
• Enthusiastic
• Well organised and great attention to detail
