We are hiring for one of our clients, a leader company in Nuclear and Mining Sector, an HSE Officer.

Position based in Namibia.

Responsibilities:
• Writing internal health and safety policies & procedures in accordance with local regulations and best practices,
• Making regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations,
• Investigating/recording incidents & accidents,
• Making recommendations following accidents/incidents,
• Providing health and safety induction for employees, visitors and contractors working on site,
• Organizing / attending health and safety meetings with site contractors when needed,
• Checking risk assessment prepared by execution team and develop appropriate control measures to minimize workplace hazards,
• Delivering relevant permits (hot works, confined space, lifting …)
• Participating to pre-job brief with supervisors and workers to ensure that main HSE messages are transmitted (related to risks... More Detail
