RSW are looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for their client, a specialist manufacturer based in Pontypool. The successful candidate will have good knowledge of machine operations and tools, along with knowledge in carrying out basic maintenance and safety checks for machinery. Electrical knowledge is not required but nice to have.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

Repairing machinery to keep them running efficiently and well maintained;

Carry out planned and preventative maintenance and routine scheduling servicing in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations, or internally determined procedures where these do not exist;

Fault finding during production and repairing machinery in a safe and timely manor to minimise downtime;

A small amount of fabrication work may be needed from time to time;
