Based: Portland Buildings, Pontypool

Purpose of the Post:

Primary responsibility is to assist in upholding financial and administrative services, collaborating closely with the Operational Executive Officer, ensuring compliance with legislative mandates, facilitating the smooth operation of Torfaen Voluntary Alliance (TVA), and monitoring the impact of the organisation's overall objectives and organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Recording day-to-day financial operations, using Sage Accounts and/or Xero functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and occasionally payroll.

· Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.

· Ensure compliance with financial regulations and funder requirements.

· Provide training and support to staff on financial management best practices.

Support our members with their own financial recording through guidance and best practices.
