• *Job Description**
• *Job Overview/Summary:** The Protection Officer will be responsible for assessing referred cases against relevant criteria, responsibly disbursing cash and/or in-kind assistance, conducting referrals and/or coordinating provision of required additional services, and completing follow up. The Protection Officer will receive technical supervision and support from the Protection Case Management Supervisor, and will be supervised for operational matters on a day-to-day basis by the Protection Manager (Kayin) including in order to contribute to implementation of emergency responses. It is anticipated that the active caseload will not exceed 20 cases, with a relatively small proportion of those requiring comprehensive protection case management.
