Position: Finance Officer

Location: Kigali, Rwanda

Reports to: Finance Manager

Purpose Statement

To provide timely, accurate and up-to- date financial information to enhance the decision making of the organization as far as finance and accounts is concerned. The role will ensure all support activities are carried on efficiently and effectively to allow the other operations to function properly.

Key Deliverables

Finance Operations Functions
• Monthly/quarterly preparation of accounts for management reporting
• Invoice processing, issue payments and prepare receipts.
• Initiation & processing of statutory remittances (PAYE, WHT, VAT and Pension)
• Apportioning of bulk invoices amongst all sister entities & Preparation of debit memos to them.
• Booking, monitoring and preparation of monthly accrual & prepayment journals
