Job Description

Objective

Drivers within the transportation department are responsible for operating SGU buses to transport students, faculty, staff, and other authorized personnel, in a safe and controlled manner.

Drivers play a pivotal role in enhancing the student success by providing a safe and reliable service along pre-determined routes to and from campus. The driver is expected to conduct himself in a professional manner which reflects the ethos of St. George’s University.

Essential Functions
• Communicate with passengers and employers regarding delays or any issues along a route.
• Complete a daily vehicle inspection sheet prior to operating any SGU vehicle. The completed sheet is to be handed to the duty supervisor once completed. Should maintenance... More Detail
