STC's website has been offline for almost two years in the period November 2019-June 2021, its content is not updated and it provides insufficient information.

On the other hand, the STC does not currently use any social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram ...), which has given opportunity to unofficial information to take initiatives and speak on behalf of the STC, which has negatively affected the correct understanding of the tax system. Regarding the specific case of Sudan, the STC will focus first on Facebook since it is the most used, but it should not ignore other social media in the medium and long term.

The STC looks forward to improving its website and creating official pages on Facebook. Thus, the department of communication and public relations should improve its capacities to ensure efficient and sustainable management of both the website and the official Facebook page.
