Our logistics client is looking for a reliable bookkeeper/financial candidate to join their team. This position is based in Mooi River, KwaZulu Natal and the successful candidate needs to live in or close to Mooi Rivier.

Duties & Responsibilities

DUTIES:
• Provide support to the Admin Manager by processing and reconciling day-to-day transactions
• Preparation of creditors recons for payment
• Receipting client payments on various operation systems
• Performing monthly cash-ups
• Processing of cashbooks
• Processing of journals when required
• Perform month-end procedures
• Assist the Admin Manager with the month-end and year-end procedures
• Mentor, guide, and assist the Junior Financial Administrator
• Provide support and relief to other team members, and rotate through the various admin and finance functions in order to achieve competence and understanding in all aspects of the business
