Overview

In this position, you will p lay a key role for SGU on all issues related to staff human resources. You should be a proactive communicator and change agent, someone who can successfully balance employee needs with organizational objectives and projects to create integrated solutions. Th e position ’ s main focus is labor relations and hands-on HR partnership with the university along with talent acquisition .

Responsibilities
• Work closely with senior management and employees, developing programs to improve work relationships, build morale, enhance employee engagement and increase productivity and retention
• Suggest and lead new HR strategies that will better align with the university’s strategic plan
• Resolve day to day and complex employee and labor relations issues, addressing grievances thoroughly and in a timely manner , including conducting thorough and objective investigations with timely resolutions
