Purpose:

Assist company leadership to actively pursue and realise an investment strategy that supports KPMC development objectives, including identifying, evaluating and recommending prospective acquisitions, mergers or joint ventures, and new business opportunities.

Accountabilities:

1. Assist Deputy CEO (Development) in performing the various Business Development functions, viz:
• Understand market trends, research, and assess possible BD opportunities to develop and grow the business.
• Carry out preliminary ground research and reality checks on BD opportunities.
• Carry out due diligence.
• Create detailed financial models and prepare financial analysis and scenarios to support BD work.
• Evaluate opportunities and prepare business proposals for presentation to Senior Management / Shareholders from the parent company.
• Assist to prepare bid documents.
