Introduction

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Trader interested in joining a really fast growing supplier of meat products, in Malmesbury Region, Western Cape. Despite being really large, the company is family owned, and places a huge premium on traditional values such as humility and respect.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop and implement trading strategies for the company.
• Lead, manage and coach Junior Traders, and staff.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and regulations.
• Develop and maintain strong, strong relationships with sellers and buyers in the meat industry.

Desired Experience & Qualification
• At least 8 years trading experience in the meat industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deadline driven, analytical, collaborative.
• “Entrepreneurial” team player, that is passionate about staff development and upliftment.
• You will be “industry connected” both from a buyer and seller point of view.
