Introduction

We’re seeking a Food Safety and Quality Manager interested in joining a super fast growing, supplier of food products, in Malmesbury Region, Western Cape. Despite being really large, the company is family owned, and places a huge premium on traditional values such as humility and respect.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Ensure processes needed for FSSC 22000 food safety management system, quality control and health and safety functions for an export registered abattoir and meat processing plant are established, implemented, maintained and updated.
• Manage and organize the work of the technical team in order to ensure innovative and safe products of consistent quality.
• Conduct food safety, quality, health, safety training and education of food safety team members and all personnel.
• Conduct food safety, quality control, health and safety documentation reviews and validate the technical management systems and functions on a regular basis.
