LAQ is recruiting for both permanent and temporary Grants Managers in our Grants Division. This is an outstanding opportunity for experienced business or legal professionals to manage arrangements for the purchase of legal services to support legal service delivery to vulnerable and disadvantaged Queenslanders.

About The Team

The Grants Division (Brisbane and regional offices) administers funding for legal services in line with federal and state government funding priorities. The Division processes more than 44,000 new legal aid applications each year and manages ongoing files to finalisation.

Legal Aid Queensland utilises a purchaser-provider model to deliver high-quality legal services across Queensland. Approximately 80% of those legal services, costing about $80M per year, are provided by private legal practitioners.
