Aisling House Nursing Home is a family run, private nursing home situated 3km from Arklow Town Centre and located in the picturesque South Wicklow countryside which boasts stunning views of the Wicklow Mountains and the Irish Sea.

We are now looking for Activities Coordinators to join the care team on a full time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities

To co-ordinate and contribute to an activities programme, to include both one to one activity as well as group sessions.

Utilising activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games, music, beauty, social recreation, hobbies and sensory stimulation taking into account the needs and interests of individual members and the collective group of Residents.

Ascertain and interpret group interests, evaluate equipment and facilities, and adapt activities to meet participant needs.

Attend Resident meetings to see if they are happy with the activities on offer and if improvements can be made, as and when required.
