Job Summary

This position is in the District of Columbia's Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency (HSEMA). The mission of HSEMA is to lead the District's effort to prevent, protect against, respond to, and recover from all threats and hazards by coordinating all planning and preparedness efforts and facilitating a common operating picture during events.

The FOIA Officer & Records Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) process and records retention activities within HSEMA. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with FOIA regulations and maintaining accurate and accessible records for the agency.

Duties And Responsibilities
