The Community & Culture team currently has an opportunity for a Coordinator Emergency Management on temporary full-time basis from May 2024 until December 2025. As the Coordinator Emergency Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a range of municipal emergency planning, prevention, response and recovery services to Wellington Shire Council and the community.

Key objectives of this role are to:
• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of the Wellington Municipal Emergency Management Plan and procedures to ensure the organisation is well prepared and equipped to deal with emergency responsibilities in a timely and effective manner.
• Coordinate the involvement of key stakeholders in the delivery of a range of emergency planning, prevention, response and recovery activities that develop the capacity of the community.
