Small building design business in suburban Adelaide requires an Architectural Drafter with experience in residential documentation. Would prefer you also have some experience in commercial buildings.

You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the timber framing code and be able to use it's span tables. Experience with at least one timber frame software package is essential.

You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic structural steel principles, as well as an understanding of general structural knowledge of various building types.

Understanding of the NCC and it's application to the specific project is essential.

Experience dealing with Council planners and PlanSA is desirable.

Experience with the building approval processes and regulations in other states is desirable but not essential.
