Our UK largest Aerospace manufacturing plant in Titchfield is now looking for a Senior Buyer to join their highly successful and collaborative team. Your main responsibilities : Balancing current and future demand requirements with supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements Minimising any cost increase by working with the Commodity Management team to adhere to standard costs Expediting supplier material, where required, to meet shortfall between current plan and customer order requirements Working closely with Quality to coordinate the return, rework, or exchange of defective materials Providing training/support to new or more junior members of the department Driving savings projects Negotiating with suppliers and building strong relationships to effectively manage the strategic sourcing/buying process Qualifications : Your essential skills we are looking for : Previous experience in a procurement function ideally from a manufacturing environment...
